Guadeloupe is the largest island of the Lesser Antilles. It consists of two large Islands, Basse-Terre and Grande-Terre and several smaller islands.

From the bird's-eye view Guadeloupe resembles the pretty butterfly in the azure waters of the Caribbean Sea.

On the northern coast of the island of Basse-Terre among rocks are located many beautiful beaches with golden sand. Here You can relax, hide from the civilized world and enjoy sunbathing. Besides, in this area settled down one of the most beautiful beaches of Guadeloupe archipelago - Grand Anse.

Numerous bays and cozy marinas will allow with no difficulties to moor near a coastal zone. And the most beautiful natural lagoons will give an opportunity to hide in one of the numerous islands of Guadeloupe.

On the island of Basse-Terre rises the majestically sleeping stratovolcano La Soufrière or Soufrière Saint Vincent. The volcano is the highest point of all Lesser Antilles. The most courageous travelers will be able to go hiking to the top of Soufrière.
